About Jennifer Baccanello

Experienced Yoga Instructor with a Heart-Centered Approach

Who Is Jennifer Baccanello?

Hi, Jennifer Baccanello is a yoga instructor with over a decade of experience guiding students through the deeply transformative practices of movement, breath, and self-awareness. To me, yoga isn’t just a workout—it’s a way of living with intention, clarity, and compassion. My teaching style blends classical yogic techniques with modern mindfulness practices to create a supportive, inclusive space for students of all ages, body types, and experience levels.

How I Found Yoga and What Inspired Me to Become a Teacher

I first discovered yoga in my early twenties, during a particularly stressful season of life. At the time, I was looking for something—anything—that could help me feel more grounded and connected. What started as a way to relieve physical tension and calm my nerves quickly evolved into something much deeper: a lifelong passion and a path I now walk every day, both personally and professionally.
Over the years, I’ve trained extensively in trauma-informed yoga, prenatal yoga, meditation, and mindfulness facilitation. These studies have shaped my approach and allow me to meet my students where they are—whether they’re brand new to yoga or longtime practitioners exploring deeper layers of awareness.

My Yoga Teaching Style

My classes focus on the powerful connection between breath and movement. I encourage students to move mindfully and with intention, tuning into the rhythms of their own bodies. I teach a variety of styles including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative yoga. No two classes are exactly alike—they’re thoughtfully crafted to offer both structure and freedom, strength and softness.
Beyond the poses, I weave in teachings on mindfulness, self-compassion, energy awareness, and the quieter inner practices of yoga. My goal is to help students build not only flexibility and strength, but also inner stillness and resilience they can carry off the mat.
